Story: Lola was rescued from a shelter in North Carolina with her sister Lacey. We are so happy to have them safe and sound in a foster home in the DC area now. Lola is a happy sweetie who loves people and gets along great with other dogs and puppies. She knows just how to get comfortable up on the couch with her humans, and will love to join you on walks and trots around the neighborhood. Lola is just looking for someone to be her new best furend and we know that she will repay them with endless amounts of love and tail wags. Like all dogs, Lola will need an adopter who is committed to setting her up for success by enrolling in obedience training and exercising her both mentally and physically. She will also need love, patience, and socialization in order to thrive!

What my foster says: Lola is an active, sweet and affectionate girl. She loves playing outside chasing leaves. She’s good with other dogs and finds cats interesting, but she doesn’t chase. As much as she enjoys being outside, she also likes to lounge on the couch for a bit of quiet cuddling time. Lola is not fond of her crate, but we’re working on crate training. She does OK with another dog close by. She would rather spend her time with her people. Lola is working on house training. She knows that she should go outside and so she’s getting better each day!

The fee to adopt Lola is $475. That covers the cost of all her vaccines, the collar she’s wearing, her transport to DC and her care in her foster home. She’s up to date on all age appropriate vaccines. Lola has been seen by a shelter vet and was given a clean bill of health.
