Story: Moana is an adorable Domestic Short Hair Mix kitty, who came to us from a shelter in North Carolina. We are just not sure how she ended up in there, but we are so happy to have her with us now in a foster home! Moana is a happy and sweet young kitty. She spends her days playing with her foster family and chasing all the fun toys they have. When she’s done it’s nap time or cuddling with her humans!

What my foster says: Simea and her sister Moana are each other’s shadows! Simea is the braver of the two - the first to say hi, first to leave the room, first to chase after a new toy. Moana is on the shy side and takes a little more time to get comfortable, but once she does, she’s ready to run! These two are typical balls of kitten energy, but once they tire themselves out, they’re ready to follow you around for head butts and little licks.

Please note that all kittens under the age of four months old must be adopted to a home with an already existing young cat, or be adopted as a pair (preferably with a sibling!). To learn more about why this is important, visit our blog.

The fee to adopt Moana is $200 ($325 for two kittens). This covers the cost of vaccines appropriate for her age, her spay, the collar she’s wearing, her transport to DC and her care in her foster home. Moana has been seen by a shelter vet (or other vet) and we are not aware of any health issues.
