Story: Eagle was rescued from a shelter in North Carolina with her brother Chief - any football fans here? We are so happy to have them safe and sound in a foster home in the DC area now. Eagle is a happy sweetie who loves people and gets along great with other dogs and puppies. She knows just how to get comfortable up on the couch with her humans, and will love to join you on walks and trots around the neighborhood. Eagle is just looking for someone to be her new best furend and we know that she will repay them with endless amounts of love and tail wags. Like all dogs, Eagle will need an adopter who is committed to setting her up for success by enrolling in obedience training and exercising her both mentally and physically. She will also need love, patience, and socialization in order to thrive!
What my foster says: Eagle and Chief are absolutely incredible puppies! They are currently living in a foster home with two adults, a 3 year old toddler, and three large dogs - and they get along amazingly with all of them. Eagle and Chief are gentle with our daughter and take cues very well from our grumpier old dogs. They are almost fully housebroken, crate trained, and are working on their basic commands. As far as energy level - they are the perfect combination of active and cuddly. We believe that Eagle and Chief would make the perfect match for almost any family.
The fee to adopt Eagle is $450. That covers the cost of all her vaccines, the collar she’s wearing, her transport to DC and her care in her foster home. She’s up to date on all age appropriate vaccines. Eagle has been seen by a shelter vet and was given a clean bill of health.
