Story: Dyson was rescued from a shelter in South Carolina. We are so happy to have him safe and sound in a foster home in the DC area now. Dyson is a happy sweetie who loves people and gets along great with other dogs and puppies. He knows just how to get comfortable up on the couch with his humans, and will love to join you on walks and trots around the neighborhood. Dyson is just looking for someone to be his new best furend and we know that he will repay them with endless amounts of love and tail wags. Like all dogs, Dyson will need an adopter who is committed to setting him up for success by enrolling in obedience training and exercising him both mentally and physically. He will also need love, patience, and socialization in order to thrive!

What my foster says: Dyson is a very happy and hungry boy. He is hungry for playtime, attention, and most of all FOOD. He has great energy and so he’ll do best with a family with plenty of time to play with him and give him attention. He is smart and motivated to learn but he is still very much a puppy. He plays nonstop with our 3 year old dog, they became best friend in 30 seconds. Not sure about cats but I would be cautious with very small children, as he is a bit of a bull in a china shop at times (zoomies). He is crate trained. He is a good sleeper and does not bark or cry in the crate. He is a very sweet, affectionate goofball.

The fee to adopt Dyson is $450. That covers the cost of all his vaccines, his neuter, the collar he’s wearing, his transport to DC and his care in his foster home. He’s up to date on all age appropriate vaccines. Dyson has been seen by a shelter vet and was given a clean bill of health.
